Flywheel Coworking: Three Locations, One Community

Searching for a workspace where you can be productive and feel part of a supportive community? At Flywheel Coworking, you’ll find not just one but three unique spaces (and counting!) in Winston-Salem, NC, Concord, NC and now Greenville, SC. Each has its own distinct energy, perfectly suited for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and remote workers. And the best part? Your membership at one location unlocks access to all of them!

Each Flywheel location is a hub of innovation and collaboration, guided by a dedicated Community Manager who knows you by name and is committed to elevating your member experience. Whether you need a friendly introduction to fellow members or advice to help your business grow, our Community Managers are here to support your journey personally and professionally.

This month, we’re turning the spotlight on Community Managers Reilly Morin (Greenville, SC), Becca Martin (Winston-Salem, NC) and Sara Freeman (Concord, NC) as they share why coworking is not just a trend but a transformative way to work.

1. What is the best part of coworking?
Reilly Morin: The best part of coworking (especially as a remote worker in a coworking space) is finding your “work family” with others that may not work for the same company as you. I have seen so many people feel as though they have finally found their stride in their work-life, now that they have a dedicated space to go to, and people to cowork with.
Becca Martin: The best part of coworking is the people! As a Community Manager, the best part of the job is getting to know my members on a personal level. The benefit of a professional community is having a built in support system that is genuinely invested in your success

2. What tips do you give for getting the most out of your coworking community?
Becca Martin: You get back what you put in! Spend some time getting to know your fellow coworkers and get involved in events. It’s the easiest way to meet people and the first step in finding your community.
Sara Freeman: You’ll make the best connections at the coffee station! Coworking is about meeting the people around you, so be sure to take a brain break and chat with other members while you’re refilling your cup or heating up your lunch.

3. What has been your most memorable moment so far as a Community Manager at your location?
Reilly Morin: My most memorable moment as a Community Manager was our most recent BBQ “Meat-Up” with our member-base! It put the biggest smile on my face to see everyone drop what they were doing to get together for a wholesome meal, enjoy a friendly competition of a cook-off, laugh with one another, and even talk to others they may not have spoken to before. Community is the BEST at Flywheel Greenville!
Becca Martin: I love when our members share their wins with me, both big and small. It’s hard to choose just one. I’ve seen people start businesses out of the space with members they met here. I’m always grateful for the opportunity to celebrate everything from a new job to a new baby.

4. What do you want people to know about your coworking community?
Reilly Morin: We thrive off of wanting to help others! I love getting the opportunity to see our coworkers come together, no matter what their professional background may be, and receive helpful advice from each other.
Sara Freeman: Our member community is a talented bunch! From web developers to graphic designers to authors, our members here in Concord and across Flywheel locations are so great at supporting one another with what they each have to offer. There’s always someone you can find on the Flywheel Mentor Deck or at the desk next to you who can help with your biggest challenge.
